What is gravitational waves?:-
In physics science gravitational wave are ripples in the fabric of the space time.  which propagate as waves, travelling outward from the source. Predicted in 1916 by Albert Einstein on the basis of his theory of general relativity, gravitational waves transport energy as gravitational radiation
Gravitational wave first time discover & observed the warping of space-time generate by the collision of two black holes more than a billion light-year from earth.
The international team says the first detection of the grativational waves will usher in newera for astronomy. it is comination of decades of searching and could ultimatly offer a window of the big bang.
                                                  Ripples in the space time:-
1. gravitional waves are prediction of the theory of general relativity.
2. their existance has been inferred by science but only now directly detected.
3. they are ripples in the fabric of space and time produced by violent events.
4. Accelerating masses will produce waves that propagate at the speed light.
5. Detectable source ought to incluude merging black holes and neutron stars.
6. LIOG fires lasers into long L- shaped tinnels the waves disturb the light.
7. detecting the wave opens up the universe to completely new investigations.
